Brazilian Butt Lift
If you are looking for a natural, full rounded bottom and don't want implants, then the Brazilian butt lift is an option. Brazilian buttock enhancement involves taking fat from one area of the body and redistributing it to the buttocks to sculpt a smooth, rounded shape. Dr. Sigler will use liposuction to extract stubborn, unwanted fat from the abdomen, thighs, or hips, process and purify the extracted fat, and then reinject it into your buttocks to create a full, more lifted appearance.

Buttock Implants
Buttocks Implants are made of silicon. The ones Dr. Sigler uses are made of cohesive silicon gel, Silimed brand. The implants can be round or anatomical shaped depending on what gluteal shape you desire. They are placed in the gluteal muscles through an incision on the upper part of the intergluteal crease. If you desire to have more volume or a different shap than what was accomplished by this surgery, then at a second stage, fat transfers can be added to this area. Drain tubes are usually placed to drain fluid during 5 days

Testimonials

“I was so self conscious that my butt was flat. I didn’t like how my jeans fit and I didn’t want to go to the beach or swim because I didn’t feel attractive.  It wasn't until Dr. Sigler placed the butt implants that I felt confident and began to enjoy my activities and appearance."

Post Surgery Care

Brazilian Butt Lift Recovery
Recovering from a Brazilian Butt Lift is a little more demanding that some other liposuction procedures. It is important to avoid sitting directly on your buttocks for at least 10 days after treatment. This is extremely important as it can affect blood circulation to the area and potentially destroy the transferred fat cells. In fact, as much as 40% of the transferred fat may not survive, regardless of whether or not you sit down.ou will experience tenderness in the buttocks and the areas on which liposuction was performed. This tenderness should dissipate in the short term. A compression garment will likely be provided to help limit discomfort. Within six to eight weeks, you can expect a full return to normal activity.

Buttock Implant Recovery
You wil be put on a liquid diet for one day following surgery and then progress to bland diet, avoiding fiber. Antibiotics must be taken for one week to 10 days. and you willl be required to sleep on your tummy for two weeks with a pillow under your legs to relax the area. The incision must be cleansed with an antiseptic solution regularly and will take care of the drains (Jackson Pratt) until they are removed. An antibiotic ointment should be applied to the incision for two to three weeks. Avoid exercise for one month, along with sexual intercourse. Avoid using the bath tub or jacuzzi, bending over or heavy lifting. Sunlight and heat exposure should be avoided for two months. The same applies to sitting for periods longer than two hours at a time. Your stitches will be removed after two weeks.

Both Procedures
After buttock augmentation, most patients take about a week away from work. During this recovery period, wear an elastic compression garment to limit swelling and help the tissues heal in their new contours. The most common side effects of this procedure include swelling, bruising, and redness. It is normal to feel some soreness, pain, and tenderness. Many patients will be on bed rest for at least twenty-four hours. After this time, avoid sitting directly on the implants or sleeping on your back for at least a week.  You can sit on a soft cushion to protect the implant area until it has healed. While most patients return to work in about a week, those whose jobs include strenuous activities or long periods of sitting may need more time to recover.
